It may not be a good idea to collect them from the wild, either. They turn to ink very soon after being picked, even when refrigerated, so they wouldn't last long in a store. Question: Can I buy shaggy mane and inky cap mushrooms at a grocery store?Īnswer: I doubt it very much.
